UK: Should I tip the pizza hut delivery man if I pay for it online?
When I order my pizza from pizzahut online, I pay for it online so when it comes I don’t have to worry about money, coins, etc. But is it normal to not leave a tip or should I be leaving one.
When I’m in the US, I always tip everyone, but people here in the UK don’t really tip (tipping bartenders is unheard of) so I’m just wondering.
I don’t believe in tipping it’s BS. Why should you tip someone who does their job and delivers you food on time? You wouldn’t buy the weekly shopping at Sainsbury’s and give the cashier a £2 for serving you. You wouldn’t have the gas man come round to fix the boiler and tip him for fixing the problem. But for some reason someone bringing you food warrents a tip. Fair enough if he delivers it super earlier, double your order for free and arrives riding a unicycle with a talking monkey on his shoulder. That might just warrent a tip
