hi, i need a good recipe for soft, chewy and resturant like pizza crust that YOU have tried and is a family favorite! please dont google it and give a wacky recipe cuz I’ve already tried that.

This is a recipe I have used for my own family for years. It is the original recipe which Pizza Hut used when they still baked in the brick ovens.
The recipe calls for whey powder, which I always use, but if you don’t have any you can just use sour milk in place of the water in the recipe. It makes a crust sort of tangy like what sour dough would be.
PIZZA CRUST
1 tsp. whey powder
1 lb. flour – 2 3/4 c.
1 tsp. baking powder
1 oz. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1 cup warm water
