What is your favorite recipe?
I love to cook and I have a few homemade recipes I use. I also make stuff up as I go like if I’m making something but don’t have a lot of seasonings I will use what I can find. I’m wondering what are some of yours. Any will do. I make homemade pizza (dough i make from scratch using a bread machine), chili cheese dip for holidays or gatherings, things like this. Thanks Everybody!
You know – one of the best dishes I make, is thai coconut-curry with noodles.
I heat oil, and add grated lemon peel (or fresh ginger if I have it), curry powder and chili powder.
The I add skin- and boneless chicken breast cut into little pieces. Then I add different vegetables, cut into strips … carrot, bell pepper, onion, fennel, sugar snaps etc. 2 minutes before it’s done, I add coconut milk – not a lot, just a little bit.
If I have lettuce, I cut some up, and add them at the very last minute.
While I cook the chicken and vegetables, I boil water for the noodles, and cook them.
It’s fast and delicious!! And not too heavy.
I make it at least once a week, when I work the night shift.
