Adapt my pizza recipe please?
I’m making a pizza from scratch and wondered what I could do just to make any aspect just a little better.
Dough: 350g strong white plain flour, 7g sachet of fast action yeast, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 225ml of water, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 a teaspoon of salt and pepper (risen, shaped, risen and cooked with toppings)
Sauce: 450g chopped tomatoes, 1/2 onion, 1 1/2 cloves of garlic, olive oil, 1 teaspoon of dried mixed herbs, handful of fresh basil chopped. (Onions sauteéd with garlic in oil, add other ingredients and simmer for 15 mins on a low heat)
Toppings: Diced Red Pepper, Diced Button Mushrooms, Finely chopped medium heat chilli and diced Aubergine, all seasoned.
Oven cooked for about 10-15 minutes at 220 degrees C.
And the sauce is all blended before putting it on the base
