Is this enough food for my daughter to gain weight? How many calories should she have?
I am trying to help my daughter gain some weight, she is 15 year old 5′2 and only 76 pounds. This is the meal plan I gave her to try and gain weight, is it enough? Any suggestions on how to make it better? How many calories should she have a day?
This is her typical meal plan everyday:
Breakfast: 1/2 Whole Wheat English Muffin with 1Tablespoon Low fat Strawberry Cream cheese and 1 Orange
Snack: 1 Light Baby bell Cheese Wheel and 1/3 cup Dried Cranberries
Lunch: 1/3 healthy Kashi Pizza and 1 Cup 2% Milk
Snack: 1 healthy Kashi cookie and 1 non sugar applesauce
Dinner: 1/2 brown rice with mixed fish and vegetables
Stop giving her healthy food. Fry up in the morning, takeaway in the evening, possibly a maccie d’s at lunch, with chocolate, crisps and ice cream in between, and she’ll have weight on her instantly!
